What the Best which is the advantage of encapsulation? Pros Do (and You Should Too)

I have always been taught that encapsulation is a great way to bring a product or service to market quicker and better.

Unfortunately, I think that this is one of the downsides to encapsulation, though I really don’t know how else to put it. That is, some aspects of encapsulation can make things much easier, but at the same time, they can make it so much harder to implement correctly. In the new Deathloop we’re building, we’re building a web component that connects to the main game server. We’re essentially using a web service inside of a web component, which means our web component is a singleton and can be used anywhere, which is great for encapsulating common components that are generally used throughout the game. It’s also great because it makes testing and changing the code for the game incredibly easy.

The biggest drawback to web components is that they can be used outside of the main game. If you spend a few minutes testing and changing the code for the game and then use the server code to test for any changes, it makes the game harder to test as well.
