Well that is what I was going to say. I think if you are unaware of something its not there. If you are aware of something, but you don’t know what it is, you call it something and it is there.
I think I may have just confirmed that this was an example of a “ghost in the room”. I think the difference is that while a ghost might know what the meaning of its presence is, Im not.
