So to be a Partner, you need to have a Salesforce account. I’m not sure why this is a big deal. You can do a lot of cool things with the Salesforce platform, like get paid for performing manual tasks, or do some great marketing for your company, or even sell your own product, but you can’t really do sales.
Partnerships are a great way to leverage your Salesforce account. There are ways to get paid for sales and get paid for doing things that people arent willing to pay you for. But it is more complex to get paid for sales than a regular Salesforce account.
