As it turns out, the data science students were a bit of a problem. This project was one of those things that Ive worked on that Ive been really scared of because Ive been afraid that Ive made a mistake. Ive done data science before, but this time it was different. I am honestly not sure if this is good or bad. I guess I was just really nervous because Ive worked on projects with the same team before where there has been lots of collaboration and Ive never worked with someone like this. Ive also worked in a group before where Ive only been responsible for one or two data sets. Its not like anyone has had a lot of experience with big data.
I think its good to have a team that can work on things together, but this is also one of the most challenging internships you can have, because the project involves creating a huge data set that has to be analyzed by a team, and we are all doing that together. Ive seen this kind of work before and it always seems like you have to be ready for a challenge.
