I’m a little confused about what this position actually is. I have a lot of questions because the title itself doesn’t really describe what I do. I’m a director of project management and I help other project managers navigate their careers and navigate their companies. I help guide them and help them navigate their jobs to help them accomplish their goals.

A project manager might be the person that works with another manager to determine when to deliver a project and what to do next.

Project management is so complex that there are literally hundreds of different types of managers.
A good project manager is one who is able to identify when things are not going as planned and make adjustments so that the project can proceed.
