I’m going to give you a little background on what we’re talking about here. The bigquery architecture (BRA) is a kind of architecture that works by taking a database and then building a self-sufficient system around the data that it contains. This is something we’ve been working on for a few years now at Vue. We were originally building on a database that we call “turbobrowser.
Thats pretty interesting. I mean, weve been really working on turbobrowser for about two years now. It has a pretty cool architecture and is a fairly robust product. It is also a pretty bad database. It has a lot of features that we would rather not have on our database, especially in a company, but we need to build a product that will satisfy the needs of our customers. This is a pretty awesome database.
bigquery is a pretty cool product, to be sure. But you’re right, it’s also a terrible database. We’re talking about a database from which to build a product. We have a lot of features in bigquery that we don’t want in our database, particularly in a company.
But you know, bigquery is one of those things that seems to have homeowners pretty stumped.
Its possible bigquery will one day replace our product database, but I think that is highly unlikely and unlikely to happen anytime soon.
