This type of problem is called an exponential distribution.

If you don’t understand the exponential distribution, you don’t understand it at all.

This is not the same thing as the normal distribution.The normal distribution has a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1. The exponential distribution has a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of infinity.
